Tyler is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, National Strength and Conditioning Certified Personal Trainer, and a Certified Resistance Training Specialist, R.T.S. 1 & 2. Tyler received his B.S. from Springfield College in 1996 and a MBA from University of New Haven in 2004. He truly is a guru of personal training and expects nothing but the best from his individual clients. Over the years, he has worked with a variety of individuals including Medical doctors, Senior citizens, Olympic athletes and the physically challenged.

Andrew Spinnato is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer as well as a second level "Resistance Training Specialist" R.T.S II. His areas of expertise include Biomechanics, Sports Conditioning, Altering Body Composition and Nutrition. Andrew has trained all different walks of life ranging from professional athletes to the physically handicapped. Through continuing education Andrew has always stayed on the cutting edge of the exercise industry while always taking on the attitude of the more you learn the less you know.
Andrew’s hobbies include Jui Jitsui, Kenpo, Boxing and Golf "Physiology is simply the body’s response to physics, Biomechanics is the science of life motion, it is the combination of these true sciences that helps me to create proper exercise, Hmmmm….. maybe I should be spending less time in the gym and more time working on my tan."
Marsha Brierley, MSc, is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified trainer. Marsha has successfully trained clients of all ages and fitness levels for several years and is proud to be a part of New Haven Fitness. A contributing author to The Sport Psychologist, Marsha's expertise is in the area of sports performance and psychology. She enjoys helping people set and reach their training goals. From the student athlete looking to get in shape for try-outs, to women searching for safe and effective ways to increase bone density, to the individual craving variety and creativity in their workout, Marsha designs personalized training programs that not only meet but exceed expectations! Marsha Brierley holds a Master’s degree in Sports Performance from the University of Portsmouth (UK). She also holds a BA in Psychology from Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Virginia. When she is not at the gym, Marsha practices yoga, plays ultimate frisbee, and competes at hunter/jumper horseshows.

Alicia Trotta is a personal trainer certified by A.F.A.A. She currently teaches aerobic classes ranging from cardio kickboxing to body sculpt. Her area of expertise includes altering body composition and general conditioning. Alicia specializes in image consulting. She received her degree from Bentley College. The skills developed during her training, along with her strong belief that fitness is an integral part of health and wellness, led her to the fitness industry.

Yvette Sincavage is a certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She uses a systematic approach to fitness utilizing various forms of exercise including resistance training, cardiovascular conditioning, core work and proper nutrition. Yvette is an expert in altering body composition, sports conditioning and functional training. She herself is an experienced soccer player and figure skater.
Yvette’s interests include running, Pilates, hiking and healthy cooking.

Andrew Chan is currently a student at Yale University studying the epidemiology of microbial diseases. He already holds a B.S. in global and community health from Tulane University in New Orleans. He eventually plans on becoming a sports medicine doctor. Andrew is a former track and field athlete at Tulane,and is currently a member of the Yale Graduate Rugby team. He has previously cross-trained under Gayle Hatch, the former Olympic weightlifting coach of the2004 Athens games. Andrew's previous experiences as a former all-state soccer r player and worker at Tulane University's Athletic Training room makes him an expert in cross-training across different disciplines. He has also prepared cadets for service academy fitness tests, including the Army Physical Fitness Test for West Point.
His interests include circuit training, running, infectious diseases, and playing the violin and piano.
Jay Whittemore is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. His areas of expertise include altering body composition, sports training, and nutrition.
Whether your goal is to lose body fat, increase muscle mass, or to increase functional mobility and restore flexibility, Jay works with clients to ensure that they both meet their goals and have fun along the way. He works with clients of all ages and abilities, from seniors to college athletes.Jay has a multi-sport background, including competitive volleyball and baseball. His interests include golf, tennis, educational reform, and Western philosophy and literature.
